Although this is from over a year ago, I felt I needed to break the ice between this websit and myself.

Alright, well seeing as to how missing home is not a hard challenge when you think about it everyday. It made sense to post something that I certainly appreciated from there. And, at the same time, if I could share it with others to maybe brighten up their day a little it would certainly be a nice end to a somewhat simple idea.

Back home I remember looking outside the windows of the car as my mother or father drove around the city. I’ve always been one to observe, but this is something that is practically engraved in my memory. You see, everywhere I went there seemed to be these phrases painted over walls in the strangest places. However, they were there for nothing else than to spread the love and appreciation of Poetry in a more visual way. The idea was simple; Nothing more than a quote or writing from literature painted in black over a previously painted white wall. This ‘thing’ was referred to as “Poetic Action” and has apparently stayed in my mind all the way until now.

So, with that in mind I thought it’d be worth it to share. Take this as a tribute if you will. To home.
